This course provides training on how to use the FMS Mobile Device to access and complete work orders in the field.

Who Should Attend

Operational Maintenance field crews who complete work orders for Distribution, Transmission and Streetlights and WP staff who use FMS including:
1. New users to FMS2 (e.g. depot starting to use system for the first time)
2. Current users of FMS2 who require formal training

Prerequisites

An understanding of:

  • how to use a toughpad
  • work schedules and work types.

Learning Outcomes

As a result of attending this training, participants should be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of Western Powers business requirements for using FMS Mobile Device
  • Demonstrate an understanding of FMS Mobile Device and how to use its available features
  • Use FMS Mobile Device to:

o Complete work orders electronically including pre-site, prep and construction
o Complete checklists, data and commissioning sheets
o Access and record GPS location
o Access camera, capture asset photos, save and upload
o Access and attach information and documents relevant to work orders

  • Access help when required
