Transmission lines switching - Bridging Course

The purpose of this three-day bridging course is to provide a learning pathway for holders of the current TL authorisation (66 kV/132 kV) to gain the TS-L authorisation (220 kV/330 kV) – Terminal Substation Transmission Lines Switching, as stipulated in Appendix 4 of the ESSR 2016.

TS-L is restricted to the operation of:

  • line circuit breakers (0.0)
  • line disconnectors/isolators (0.5)
  • line earth switches (0.7).

Course Duration

3 days
