Who Should Attend

Anyone required to safely operate and maintain a passenger or commercial vehicle in an operational capacity.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites for attendance at this course are:

  • A full or probationary ‘C’ class licence.

Note: All prerequisites need to be current.

Learning Outcomes

As a result of attending this course participants should be able to:

  • planning and preparing for operating a light vehicle
  • operating a light or commercial vehicle,
  • monitoring of traffic and associated equipment
  • management of vehicle condition and performance
  • effective management of hazardous situations.

PPE/PPC & Equipment Requirements

PTSWA training room standards apply:

  • smart casual attire (no shorts)
  • enclosed footwear
  • You will be required to show your licence to the training provider for verification on the day of training.

Assessments

Written and practical assessments are included in the course.
Participants will need to demonstrate the required knowledge and the necessary practical skills in line with the learning outcomes.
Participants will not be considered to have completed this course until all assessments have been completed to a satisfactory level.
