Background
I started my Apprenticeship in 1975 as an Electrical Installer, working on Ships, Ocean going liners, Oil Supply vessels, Tugs, Prawn Trawlers and Cray boats. I completed my Apprenticeship in 1980.
In 1988 I worked in Kambalda both surface and underground mining. Returning to Perth in 1997 I worked both rewinding and electrical installing throughout the metro area.
In 2004 I had my own business, engaged in installation of heavy industrial and marine work. I worked as a Project manager looking after the Rockingham and Waikiki railway stations. I then started work with Transfield services on the Overhead Services Replacement Program with Western Power.
I then commenced my Certificate 1V in training and assessment and became a technical trainer.
I have been working for Western Power since 2014.

Western Power Induction, Substation Entry, RIC/E, RIC/V, Metrel Polarity Plus, Testing and Commissioning, MCB Replacement, Panel Rescue, Power System Familiarisation for non-Technical Persons. Training and mentoring Electrical Apprentices.
Qualifications
Electrical Licence, Electrical Contractors Licence, Certificate 1V in training and Assessment.

I am an avid watch collector I collect, buy and sell watches around the world. My other interests are Pre 1950 Bakelite Valve radios, overhead line Insulator collecting and vintage clocks.
