Helicopter flight observation

Practical training component for aerial inspection staff, consisting of rear seat observation in a helicopter. This training is based on the Western Power Helicopter Management procedure.

Up to 1/2 day

Who Should Attend

Western Power Staff engaged helicopter aerial inspection.

Note: This is the practical training requirement in addition to the Helicopter Safety induction course.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites for attendance at this course are:
Completion of Helicopter Safety induction training

Note: All prerequisites need to be current.

Course includes

Helicopter practical exercises for aerial inspections, consisting of approximately 1 hour of rear seat observation per person.

PPE/PPC & Equipment Requirements

PTSWA training room standards apply:

• smart casual attire (no shorts)
• enclosed footwear
• Hearing protection will be provided, however you may wish to bring your own.
