Provide first aid - Refresher

Refresher and assessment of the skills and knowledge related to Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) involving a blend of online training and face to face practical assessment.

Course duration

Pre-learning (online training) - between 2 to 4 hours
Assessment – between 2 – 4 hours

Who should attend

This course is designed for those who have current first aid skills and are looking to update their certification.

Course includes

1. Pre-learning – An online course which enables students to complete a knowledge refresher and theory assessment online.
2. Practical Assessment – students attend a face to face, practical session where trainers will assess your skills.

Prerequisites

• completion of the prelearning, on-line training provided
• your Unique Student Identifier (USI). If you do not have a USI please apply for one via the USI website.
• a certificate for HLTAID003 Provide first aid course attained within the last 3 years

PPE/PPC & Equipment Requirements

PTS training room standards apply:

• smart casual attire (no shorts)
• enclosed footwear
• you will be required to show photo ID to the trainer at the start of the training day

XBAID – Provide First Aid (Must be renewed every 3 years)
Z0065 – Perform CPR (Must be renewed yearly)
