This assessment will assess participants' competency in performing pole top rescue procedures in the workplace.
Course Duration
4 hours
Who Should Attend
Overhead workers who hold the Pole Top Rescue authorisation and require an annual refresher.
Prerequisites
The prerequisites for attendance at this course are:
- Network Authority Card (NAC)
- UETTDRRF02 – Perform pole top rescue (PTS837)
- HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Note: All prerequisites need to be current.
Learning Outcomes
As a result of attending this course participants should be able to:
- Prepare to perform pole top rescue
- Carry out pole top rescue
- Complete the pole top rescue procedure
PPE/PPC & Equipment Requirements
- PPE Level 1
- Fall arrest harness and pole strap
- Minimum 500 V rated gloves (LV gloves).

Assessments
