A refresh of the skills and knowledge of the requirements to enter and work in confined spaces.

Who Should Attend
People who are in operational roles where there is a requirement to enter and work in confined spaces and who have previously completed confined space training.
Prerequisites
The prerequisites for attendance at this course are:
Completion of Confined Space training (RIIWHS202D – Enter and work in confined spaces) within the previous 3 years.
Note: All prerequisites need to be current.
Course Includes
- applicable legislation and confined space procedures
- definitions and types of confined spaces
- hazard identification and risk management procedures
- hazardous atmospheres including gas monitoring techniques
- isolation, purging, ventilation; permits and authority
- roles and responsibilities of team including standby
- rescue equipment and procedures
- industry case studies
PPE/PPC & Equipment Requirements
PPE Level 1, including steel cap boots
