This training course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to compile and record information on quality verification sheets.

This course is suitable for Western Power employees and contractors who are required to compile and record information on quality verification sheets.
Prerequisites
- There are no prerequisite competencies to this unit
Learning Outcomes
As a result of attending this course participants should be able to:
- Understand the differences between quality control and quality assurance
- Understand the importance of version control
- Identify correct version control within documents
- Understand why correct and legible entries are required for quality verification sheets
- Locate reference documents from quality verification sheets
- Understand the procedures for dealing with data that is outside the specified tolerances indicated in either manufacturer’s data or quality verification sheets
- Understand the concept of hold points within quality verification sheets.
PPE/PPC & Equipment Requirements
PTSWA training room standards apply:
- smart casual attire (no shorts)
- enclosed footwear

Assessments are included in this course. Participants will not be considered to have completed this course until all assessments have been completed to a satisfactory level.
