This VOC assessment must be completed no later than 12 months after the completion of the Maintain energised HV distribution overhead electrical apparatus (stick) course.
Failure to successfully complete this VOC will require the worker to undergo refresher training.

Who Should Attend

This course is suitable for people who have successfully completed the Maintain energised HV distribution overhead electrical apparatus (stick) course and wish to retain their authorisation to maintain high voltage electrical apparatus using live line stick method.

Note: This VoC assessment must be completed no later than 12 months after the completion of the Maintain energised HV distribution overhead electrical apparatus (stick) course. Failure to successfully complete the HV Line work VOC will require the worker to undergo refresher training.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites for attendance at this course are:

Network Authority Card (NAC)
UETTDRDP13A Maintain energised HV distribution overhead electrical apparatus (stick) (or equivalent unit) or have completed the training course
UETTDRRF08B Perform EWP controlled descent escape or equivalent unit
UETTDRRF02B Perform pole top rescue or equivalent unit
TLILIC2005 Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more) or equivalent unit

Note: All prerequisites must be current.

Dependent on the location of the course delivery, you may be required to provide relevant equipment such as a lifting bucket and an elevated work platform.

This will be determined by PTS during the enrolment process.

Assessments

Written and practical assessments are included in the course.
Participants will need to demonstrate the required knowledge and the necessary practical skills in line with the learning outcomes.
Participants will not be considered to have completed this course until all assessments have been completed to a satisfactory level.
