Online assessment to confirm that you demonstrate the necessary competencies of a Recipient in Charge (NA3D or NA3T) authorisation to receive vicinity authority and electrical access permits.

Who Should Attend
People who are required to renew their Recipient in Charge (NA3D or NA3T) to receive vicinity authority and electrical access permits.
This renewal is required every two years
Prerequisites
The prerequisites for attendance at this course are:
- Network Authority Card (NAC)
- NA3D or NA3T authorisation
- one of the following qualifications is essential:
- Certificate III in ESI – Distribution Overhead qualification or
- Certificate III in ESI – Distribution Cable Jointing qualification or
- Western Australian electrician’s licence or
- post-trade electrical qualification
Note: All prerequisites need to be current.
PPE/PPC & Equipment Requirements
- a computer with access to the internet
- Electrical Systems Safety Rules (ESSR)
- SOP 145 Work Permit Instructions
Assessment
You must attempt the assessment within the allocated time and cannot return to it if interrupted.
The assessment pass mark is 100%
A pass will result in the renewal of your authorisation. Failure to achieve 100% will result in the suspension of your authorisation.
